  • What kind of pedalboards do you build?
    All kinds! From basic rigs to advanced setups, the ToneSculptor can do it.
  • How much does a pedalboard cost?
    This can vary greatly from build-to-build, and is priced out per each customer. The best way to assess cost is to schedule a consult with the ToneSculptor directly. The ToneSculptor is very mindful of your budget and strives to make time and cost requirements as practical as possible.
  • How long does it take to build a pedalboard?
    This can vary greatly from build to build. Because boards can be small and very basic, or they can also be extremely complicated (i.e., stereo setups or using a switcher, etc.), the best way to assess timing and cost is to schedule a consult with the ToneSculptor directly.
  • Do I get a say in how the board is laid out?
    Of course! It will be personalized for your specific needs. Based on his experience as a working musician, the ToneSculptor may make suggestions based on his professional experience to ensure that your board is built in a way that makes sense to YOU. Collaboration is key.
  • How do I know my pedalboard will work?
    Every build is carefully constructed and tested prior to you receiving it. If there is an issue with the board, the ToneSculptor will work with you on troubleshooting or resolving the matter.
  • What happens when I need to change something on my board?
    Beyond the scope of an agreed design, modifications to a finished build will be considered a change request, and may be billed seperately. The ToneSculptor will work with each customer to ensure expectations are met and the best service is provided.
  • How do I get my gear to you?
    If you are in reasonable proximity to San Francisco, the ToneSculptor can arrange to meet with you to pick up your gear, and/or deliver the finished product to you. If you are outside the San Francisco area and cannot travel to meet in person, the ToneSculptor will make arrangements with you on the best shipping and insurance methods.
  • How do I receive my finished pedalboard?
    If you are in reasonable proximity to San Francisco, the ToneSculptor can arrange to meet with you to collect your gear. If you are outside the San Francisco area and cannot travel to meet in person, the ToneSculptor will make arrangements with you on the best shipping and insurance methods.
